Active Gloucestershire
About
Active Gloucestershire is a charity working to ensure everyone in Gloucestershire can be active every day. We are part of a national network of Active Partnerships working collaboratively across England to create positive change through sport and physical activity and as the backbone organisation for We Can Move (Gloucestershire’s social movement to reduce inactivity), Active Gloucestershire has a key role in increasing activity levels across the county, as an agent of change, we inspire, connect and enable people in Gloucestershire to get active in a way that works for them.
Supporting work across key areas including inclusion, young people, ageing, disability and health, active environments and system-wide change, we unite individuals from across the system; enabling collaboration, providing resources and training opportunities and working together to help others get active.
UoG Students’ Union

The University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union has two main aims – to represent students and to provide services that make life easier and more fulfilling & enjoyable for every single student at UoG.
They have a dedicated LGBT+ Experience Officer & Student Society.
The Eddystone Trust
About
The Eddystone Trust is an independent organisation providing information on sexual health and support for anyone affected by HIV across the South West.
They provide help with HIV Testing, Condoms by Post, Peer Support, Living with HIV and a range of other advice and services.
The Cheltenham Trust

The Cheltenham Trust runs several venues around the town, including The Wilson Art Gallery, the Town Hall, Pittville Pump Rooms, Prince Of Wales Stadium and Leisure@.
They have been a big support to the Partnership, including the offer of their various venues on numerous occasions, as well as a lot of external engagement work to highlight diversity across the town.

Hartpury Students’ Union

Hartpury Students’ Union empowers Hartpury college and university students through providing representation, guidance and opportunities. Our main aim is to enhance the student experience by making sure everyone feels welcome and feels heard. We have a dedicated LGBT+ society and LGBT+ students’ liberation Officer, who volunteer to hold a platform for students, provide support and campaign to promote an inclusive environment.

The Gloucestershire Hate Crime Steering Group is dedicated to raising awareness of hate crime in the county and how to report it. Working with Gloucestershire Constabulary, Victim Support and a number of organisations and individuals, the group seeks to engage with those that may be victimised or discriminated against for a certain characteristic, appearance or background.

Gloucestershire County Council
About
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) focuses particularly on LGBT+ people having equal and clear access to services, such as housing and fostering.
Along with housing a range of employee networks internally, Gloucestershire County Council work towards determining an understanding of who lives within the county and their backgrounds, releasing this interactive report in 2018.

Gloucester Community Network (GCN) is a ‘Not for Profit’ Community Organisation which aims to network individuals and organisations who would benefit from knowing about each other’s needs and abilities to meet those needs.

Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS) is a county-wide service designed to reduce the level of domestic abuse and improve the safety of victims and their families. They work with young people, from 13-19 and any adult 19+ regardless of gender or sexual orientation. They offer a variety of support packages, depending on the needs of the client.
Forest Voluntary Action Forum

FVAF is the Volunteer Centre for the Forest of Dean. They provide assistance to many of the hundreds of voluntary and community organisations in the District who are in turn better able to deliver their work in and for the local community. Services include volunteer recruitment, training, equipment hire and community development.

Crown Prosecution Service
About
CPS South West is the main prosecuting authority covering Gloucestershire, Avon & Somerset and
Devon & Cornwall. Independent from the police but closely connected, they prepare and present cases to the courts to help to bring prosecutions to offenders.
They run Local Scrutiny and Involvement Panels to engage with communities with protected characteristics.

Age UK Gloucestershire is a local independent charity, with a mission for people to age well, their way. We provide information, advice, guidance and signposting about all aspects of later life to anyone over the age of 50, their families and carers. We help older people claim benefits they may be entitled to, provide information about making social connections locally and signpost to other organisations who can help. Age UK Gloucestershire also aim to influence the creation of more age-friendly communities, tackle ageism and ensure the voices of older people are heard.

Trans* in Gloucestershire
About
Trans* in Gloucestershire is a social and support group, under the Pride in Gloucestershire umbrella, aimed at trans folk whose gender identity does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. This includes but is not exclusively limited to trans women, trans men and non binary folk.

Queering the Wye – Wye Valley River Festival
About
Queering the Wye is a creative advocacy project celebrating LGBTQIA+ voices across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Through art, storytelling, and inclusive placemaking, it fosters connection and visibility in rural spaces.
Ongoing youth sessions in the Forest of Dean offer safe, creative spaces for LGBTQIA+ young people to explore identity, make zines and badges, and share stories. All are welcome to join and help shape a more inclusive future.

Pride in Gloucestershire
About
Pride marks a big occasion across the UK for those that identify as LGBT+. Not only does it bring communities together, it also spreads awareness about LGBT+ rights, as well as a way to bring an end to discrimination on many levels. Pride in Gloucestershire is one of many to celebrate!
Pride usually takes place mid-September annually, as well as other events year-round.
Out2gether
About
Out2gether is a community driven LGBT+ Group for adults (18+) based in Worcestershire. Our aim is to provide friendship, connection and community for LGBT+ folk, families and allies from local and nearby areas.
- Friendship – Regular socials, LGBT+ Awareness Training, LGBT+ Community Representation
- Connection – Wellbeing projects, History Month events, Trans Day Of Visibility, Supporting local Prides
- Community – Creative writing group, book group, and groups for our Trans, Asexual / Aromantic and Bi+ members

Queer Futures Gloucestershire
About
Queer Futures Gloucestershire (formally GayGlos) is a registered charity providing support services to LGBTQ+ people, their family & friends, and to other organisations. First established in 1989 to provide telephone and face-to-face support, we quickly expanded into Strategic Engagement and provide Training & Education Programmes. Our bi-monthly Youth Group are well attended and was launched in 2012. We also run a monthly parent group.

The Gloucestershire Gay and Lesbian Community + is a friendly social group that welcomes people of all sexualities and ages (18+). The group aims to provide a meeting place for people who want to meet others similar to themselves in a relaxed social environment.
They meet in the centre of Gloucester on the first Thursday of each month. New members and visitors are encouraged to contact them in advance!
FFLAG Cheltenham

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity. They are dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay, bisexual and Trans daughters and sons.
